The VA New England Healthcare System in partnership with NEHSA and Mount Sunapee Resort will hold their Winter Sports Clinic for Disable Veterans on January 11th through the 15th, 2016. This event promotes rehabilitation by instructing Veterans with disabilities in adaptive Alpine skiing and snowboarding along with an introduction to other adaptive activities and sports.
WHO is Invited to participate?
Participation is open to male and female Veterans with spinal cord injuries, orthopedic amputation, visual impairments, certain neurological problems and other disabilities. The application includes a general medical information section, a additional sports application and photo consent form. All disabilities are subject to review by the Winter Sports Clinic’s program directors and medical doctor. Their decisions are final.

January 11, 2016 – registration, equipment fitting and safety checks, Sled Hockey Clinic, opening reception, team meetings.
January 12 – ski lessons, sports massage, air rifle shooting, Abilities Awareness Night
January 13 – ski lessons, sports massage, air rifle shooting
January 14 – ski races, Award Banquet
January 15 – check out
Once your application has been reviewed and you have been accepted you will need to contact the
hotel to provide a credit card number for payment. The hotel contact information will be
provided in the acceptance letter.
