Free program: Join park staff and special guest Marjorie Turner Hollman for this Sunday afternoon family program and enjoy a nature discovery walk in the Upton State Forest. Participants will be encouraged to explore to find ideas to create a nature story. Following the walk, gather in the CCC building to draw or write down discoveries to create your own book. Child/adult teams are encouraged to assist in writing the narrative. All supplies will be provided. Walk is less than 1 mile on forest trails. For ages 3 and up, ​ siblings welcome. Inclement weather cancels. For weather updates please call the park at 508-278-7604.  Accessible for all ages and many abilities. Volunteers will be available to assist visually impaired participants to write their stories. Trail is not ADA Accessible, but is handicapped friendly. Come open your eyes and ears, and discover stories of nature and your imagination!
