Special Olympics Winter Games will be held in Worcester, MA from March 11 – 12, 2017

The season is host to numerous community competitions, state qualifying tournaments, basketball leagues, invitational events and culminates with multiple Season Ending Tournaments. Teams start at varying points in the fall and winter. During this time frame, over 3,000 Special Olympics athletes of all ages (8-22+) will train and participate in traditional and unified bowling.

Traditional bowling

Our traditional sports program is comprised of athletes with intellectual disabilities training and competing on the same team.

Unified bowling

Special Olympics Unified Sports® brings together athletes with intellectual disabilities and athletes without intellectual disabilities (unified partners) to train and compete on the same team.
