UAP and All Out Adventures kayaking collaboration at Walden Pond
The DCR’s Universal Access Program (UAP) and All Out Adventures (AOA) celebrate another season at Walden Pond. The collaboration provides adaptive kayaking programs at the historic pond throughout the summer. Through the use of specialized paddling equipment participants of all abilities are able to explore Walden with increased independence. This season AOA and UAP have provided programming to over 80 participants including the Walnut Street Group, the Kelliher Center, and the Valley Collaborative.
Programs run Mondays through August 25th from 9:45-3:15, participants sign up in advance for one hour time slots. Those interested can call AOA at (413) 584-2052 to register and with any questions.
