Enjoy the beautiful fall colors of the Monadnock Region on these kayak excursions for kayakers who have developed basic kayaking knowledge and want to advance their skills by exploring local waterways.
3-day Session:
Fridays, September 9, 16, and 23 from 10 am – 12 pm
OR
Fridays, September 9, 16 and 23 from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm.
Cost: $150 for the 3-day session
Where: Local waterways in the Monadnock Region. (register for specific meeting place)
Each Program Provides:
• All adaptive and safety equipment for paddling or
cycling programs.
• Instruction and facilitation of lesson in a structured, supportive and safe environment for up to two hours by certified therapeutic recreation specialists trained in kayaking/cycling skills and techniques.
• Modifications and/or adaptations to equipment for optimal success and safety.
• Small group size (max five/six students) to allow for individual set-up, supervision and assistance with
cycling/kayaking equipment by staff and volunteers trained on the adaptive equipment.
• Kayaking – lifeguard on duty during the kayaking
lessons.
